Don’t take our word for it. Traveler reviews.
Thousands of organizations, groups, and families have come to us over the years for extraordinary life-changing trips to Israel and around the world. Our community of travelers includes major Jewish federations, synagogues, private and family groups, and alumni. Read what our travelers have to say.
The trip exceeded all our expectations and was a magical, moving, and deeply rewarding experience.Too many amazing moments to catch them all. Everything we did in Jerusalem was amazing. The cooking class was brilliant and very fun. The Old City was extraordinary. Yad Vashem was deeply moving. We loved going up north. The Jeep tour was pretty amazing—seeing all the things I cheered as a kid during the Six Day War.
From our first contact with you, we were impressed by the information you provided and also the speed with which you responded to all of our questions. You understood our interests and shaped an itinerary that suited both our interests and budget. We loved the locations, accommodations, personnel and delicious breakfasts at each of the hotels you chose for our stay. Our tour educator's knowledge was encyclopedic, and under her wing, our itinerary went off without a hitch. She was flexible and changed our reservations and plans to accommodate our energy level and interests. I am in love with Israel: its people, spirit, and incredible accomplishments.
This is our first experience with Da'at, and I must say that everything has been wonderful. I feel better knowing that we have a dedicated team of professionals working on our behalf to make our journey a fantastic and safe experience!
It has been eight wonderful years of being with Da'at. Da'at has opened up so many possibilities to all of us. It has not only been an exploration of Jewish heritage in other countries, but also an exploration of friendships, and deepening of our connections to each other within the community setting. I want to extend my appreciation to the Da'at team for working with us and making these trips possible for us - you have always delivered and I am very thankful.
How does one thank a person for helping one fulfill a lifelong dream? Your team took care of every detail as if it was their own dream. Their caring and respect completed something I had hoped for and imagined all my life. Thank you, thank you for helping me show respect, compassion and understanding of everything my parents suffered and had to endure in their early life in Eastern Europe. As I return to the day-to-day routine of life, these last 9 days will stay with me forever.
Thanks to you and your expertise and our love of history and archaeology you created an itinerary that was perfect! With our tour educator we all felt like we had completed a college semester in just 7 days! When my friends ask how our trip was, my answer will be,"Just go...and go with Da'at!!!"
Thank you so much for organizing a robust itinerary that included all of the cultural and fun activities to make the most of our time in Israel and to not miss any "Must See / Must Do" experiences. And most special was our tour educator. He was incredible, most knowledgeable, personable and professional. He handled the logistics effortlessly and really made the experience most impactful and meaningful. I look forward to sharing my experience with my family and friends back home!
Thank you so much for all your hard work for planning such an amazing trip for us. It was the trip of a lifetime. Everyone had a wonderful, unforgettable time. Everything from getting off the plane in Tel Aviv to leaving Tel Aviv went off without a hitch. Our tour educator was AMAZING!!!
Everyone commented on how smoothly everything worked. The food was out of this world - one meal better than the next. Each day was packed with interesting activities, from the volunteering to the artifact sifting, from rafting to the museum. It was an adventure of a lifetime. Nobody wanted to leave and everyone wants to go back. What else could we ask for? Thanks to you and your team, Becca's bat mitzvah trip was beyond our dreams.

People were so thrilled with the whole experience. It surpassed our expectations. There wasn’t a single hiccup. The hotels were great, and the Jewish aspects were an incredible overlay as I and others had little knowledge of the history of Moroccan Jewry or the nature of community today nor how the history of Jews in Morocco still plays a significant role in the story Morocco tells of itself. What were the highlights? Shabbat services in Marrakech, the souk in Fes, Volubolis, the cooking class. Our local guide was a font of knowledge. People really loved getting to know him, and in particular, learning about Islam from him. The tour educator was so personable and such an educator that he got people to think about their own Judaism in relation to what they saw and were experiencing in Morocco. A real mensch. It’s hard to come home to the cold of New York. I miss the smells, sights and sounds of Morocco and its incredible culture.
